Una buena semana para el geek subversivo / A good week for the subversive geek.

Esta ha sido una buena semana para el geek en mi que se niega a morir. Por fin llego mi iPod y es una belleza, y ademas, finalmente regrese al buen camino al reemplazar mi inmortal sistema 1 GHz / 1 GB / 1 TB.

Esta semana estrene una MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum con mas aditamentos que ninguna otra tarjeta madre que haya visto, un AMD Athlon64 3200+ y un enorme POLO con un culposo Jet4 y 512 MB de DDR-RAM PC4000 OCZ VX Golden Edition.

Me he comprometido a no instalar juegos hasta no terminar mi proyecto y con este juguetito mis simulaciones hidraulicas corren increiblemente. El sistema NT-VC-30-24 corrio completo en menos de 30 minutos.

En otras cosas, esta semana recibi una invitacion para entrar a la comunidad de Oink, y la verdad que es un sistema imposible. Hay demasiados contribuidores y muy pocos leechs, lo que hace imposible mantener un buen ratio.

This has been a good week for the geek in me that refuses to die. My iPod finally arrived and it´s truly a beauty to behold, also I finally returned to the enlightened way and replaced my perennial 1 GHz / 1 GB / 1 TB system.

This week I bought an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum and it´s ridiculously packed with addons, I also bought an AMD Athlon64 3200+, a huge POLO heatsink with a culpous Jet4, and 512 MB od DDR RAM PC4000 OCZ VX Golden Edition.

I have commited myself to not install games until the completion of my project and with this new toy my hydraulic simulations are running deliciously. The simulation of the oil transport system NT-VC-30-24 ran in less than 30 minutes.

In other news, I got invited to the Oink community, and it's an impossible system. There are too many seeders and too few leeches, and it's impossible to mantain a good ratio.
